I know this blessing was not forgotten, as Zach has told me about it several times. It meant a lot to him.

I can imagine that as an assignment on finding the main idea. It reminds me of a book called "The Important Book." Here's a quote from Amazon.com "The important thing about rain is/ that it is wet./ It falls out of the sky,/ and it sounds like rain,/ and makes things shiny,/ and it does not taste like anything,/ and is the color of air./ But the important thing about rain is that it is wet."

Anyway, I think it's funny that baking is a prevalent, but not very important skill in the childhood Cochran household!

This reminded me of a story about my mom. When she would write a paper for school, she'd spend hours and hours hand justifying the margins on her typewriter so that the papers looked like a book. She said that she thought her papers were so good that they might want to publish them in a book someday.

Mom, this was wonderfully touching. I can see Grandma, doing those things for her children, but mostly because you did the same for us. What a wonderful example she was.
